2 years ago....

Im writing this at 1130 at night so its techanillay the 28th but in 30 mins it will be the 29th and 2 years since my dad died. im so full of emotions. do i pretend that its any other saturday or do I allow myself feel all the emotions that this day brings.

Dad i miss you, we all miss you. there are days that i think dad you would love this or i look at my sweet kids and think you would love how much of a little Man Max has become and i see maycee filliping dancing and being so girly and such a diva and I think man your papaw would love you. I think of you so much. I know that you are with them and watching over them always. I miss the security and protection that every little girl feels from there daddy. I some times feel that if you where here you could fix this for me and help me feel better, When i was younger and was worried about things you always made feel like i give you the problem and i could let it go. I know that i will feel better more memories are happy and make me laugh or smile then cry and i know that you have taught me all that i need to get thru this. I'm doing it the Wilmott way!! Dad we are sticking together as a family you would be proud and we are all doing our best to take care of mom! love you and miss you so much Daddy!!! NIGHT LOVE YA SEEYA N' THE MORINING!!!

Family Reunion!

WE went to a family reunion on Sunday in Roland Oklahoma! Its where all my moms cousin are from and my grandpa mom was one of 10 kids where her dad lived to 104 years old so we have always gone to the reunion in may which was when his birthday was. My family haven't been in 2 years that reunion was actually the last time i saw my dad. we all went to the Reunion and then we left that night to head back to Edmond and then Thursday morning he was killed! This was a bitter sweet trip for me but once we got there i was struck by how grateful I'm that i know where i come from on both sides of my family how lucky that i know who my ancestors are i know who I'm because i know where i come from! something that my grandparents have taught me that you cant know where your going if you don't know where i you come from! I pray and hope that i can teach my kids this also! the pics are of my mom and her sisters and her dad and the ones that are left of the 10 kids and there children and the children children and gradkids and in laws!

WHAT A GREAT WEEKEND!

This weekend we went to missouri to suprise grandma suzanne for her birthday!! went the night before to get things ready so we stayed in a hotel bc grandma couldnt know we got one with pool so the kids and i got to have some fun swimming and then out to dinner and then shakeys for dessert oh oh how i love the shakeys.!!! then the next day was grandma bday so we sneaked in and got things ready we decorated and got the cake ready bc it got a little beat up on the ride there and we got grandma present ready. the hole family got her a new fridge ( which was much needed). and grandma peggy made us a great lunch a taco bar! it was a great fun day with our family!! of course we forgot the video camera so no documentation of course lol
I love our family!!!!!!
