I have been trying to help my kids understand the true meaning of Christmas. Even know that Santa is cool and all,but that this when we celebrate that Jesus was born and that he came here so that we can live with our hevenlyfather, not always the easiest thing to try to teach a 4 and almost 2 year old but the last few night when max says his prayer he says thank you for baby Jesus that was born a long long time ago. What sweet spirit it brings to our home during Christmas. kids always brings it home in the most simple way.

I was cleaning and stuff and my kids when they 1st wake up watch tv and most morinings they do there own thing but its really important to me that they love each and look out for each other and sometimes its hard for max to remeber but i walked thru the living room and this is what i saw it made my heart melt!Its blurry sorry!

music!

Ive always liked music i mean i have no abitity to create it but i have always been a lover of it and as a kid i would listen to all kinds of music like classical music chruch music and rock country it all. It has always soothed my soul and lately i havent it made it a part of my life but my younger cooler brother told me about this website called pandora radio its so awesome you can type in a group or a song and it will play that song and music like it. Its pretty cool and last night i even typed in im a child of god and got all this chruch music. Its awesome! Ive been listening non stop and my spirit does feel lighter and i feel so happy! im grateful for this and so many other blessings so check out its pandora.com

things to be thankful for .............

Ive always have consider myself a positive person who always trys to look for the good in people and lately Ive had a hard time doing this most for myself i seam to be my biggest critic which most of us are. Ive decided that i should list what I'm thankful for and what is most precious in my life so here it goes.....
my faith in Christ
my testimony of the Gospel and how it has and always will lifts me up and help me to be a better daughter of god.
my husband who is always willing to work hard for us and who loves me and our kids with all that he has.
for my children because of them im a mother something ive always wanted to be since i was 2 years old for teaching me paitance unconditoinal love to be creative and to relax and so many more things. I LOVE YOU STINKY FACE
to my brothers, we have always been close but have become the 3 musketeers in the past 1 year and half who have always been by birth younger brothers but have always been my big brothers and protector. (it can be annoying but i love them for it ha ha)
for the example of my mom: showing me how to be a righteous and faithful woman of god!
for my dad thanks for always know when there where bigger problems deep down and for always making me talk about it i miss that dad, but Scott is learning to take that spot for me.
for the hardships and trials that come and go in my life and for the opportunity to learn to be happy and content has i go Thur them and the lesson i learn from them when i look back at them.
for wonderful friends that always comes into my life right at the right time when i need to learn something or come back into my life when i need them again and for those who haven't left!
for my extend family who loves me even when its hard to.
i know that all of these blessings come from my heavenly father and I'm most grateful for his plan for me.

mamma's gone wild!

So one night i get this myestrous text from my sister n law asking if i liked greenday, imeditly i said yes, then i got another text saying could you find a babysitter, i said i think so why. She had an extra greenday ticket because my brother n law couldnt go and also we got to go to sound check and then hang out in this cool room with great food until the concert. Cassie got us both babysitters (her awesome sister and cousin) and off to KC to greenday just the mommies. I have to admitt that i felt guilty for a second that i was going with out my hubby but just for a second. IT was awesome franz ferdinad open for them and greenday was the most amazing concert! So much fun! we werent allowed to take pics and they were pretty nazi about but we did get this one pic! look at these hot mammas!

Veterans day!

Today is veterans day It has been one of my favorite days my hole life! When i was 5 i learned at school about veterans day and came home and told my parents about what i had learned and my dad told me that my grandpa was a veteran. i remember wanting to call him to wish him a happy veterans day. I still remember standing on the chair at the desk where the phone was and telling him happy veterans day and i called him every year since. My grandpa passed away last December. So this is the first year in 25 years i haven't called him on this day , so i write this blog for him today and for the other veterans like my husband. Every little girl dreams about who they would marry. when i saw my wedding in my little mind it was always to this handsome solider all dressed in his class A. When i married Scott he wasn't in the army yet, but he was the man of my dreams, and one day when he came home wanted to join the army i was taken back but i supported him. the day i saw him graduated from boot camp in his class A's it was the man in my little girl dreams. I love this country and the men and women who have and who will protect me and this country that i love! So this day i remember the past veterans days whit my grandpa and celebrate with my veteran today! Thank a vet today!

its been to long !

So i havent been on my blog in so long that its embrassing to start back but i relize i really miss it! so here is our summer in review : WE had so much fun swimming and playing all summer! WE went to great wolf lodge which is always a hit for our family! Its our most fav place to be. uncle jake got married and my kids stoled the show at the recption my kids are dancing fools! max turn 4 and had a GI Joe party and where the hole GI Joe team came to the party Max started pre-k which was truma for both mom and max and maycee has become a chatter box who love whoo white (snow white) and Rella (cinderalla) and elmo!

One Year ago

Today (may 29th) a year ago my dad was killed while on his way home from teaching swat school! it has been a year of many experience and emotions and hearache ups and downs and good and bad. I know more than ever that we are given these thing for out experience and im so grateful for my dad and his legacey he left me. he and mother so many years ago decied to go to church and raise us in the goespel,and without his faith and love and testmoney that i was able to grow my own testmoney from i dont know where i would be this day after this year. Ive been able to see the good from this and the love my hevenly father has for me and the plan he has for me, and tho i dont like the plan sometimes i have faith that my hevenly father will take me and lead me down that path im to go. I know that families are forever!!
Dad thankyou for the legacey you have left me and have given me to pass to my children. When times have been tought and we had no other way out this year we did it your way dad the wilmott way ( with brute force and ingroance ) .

This man road on a bikecycle from new jersey to D.C. in honor of my dad. he is also a policeman and the ride was over 300 hundred miles. i still get goose bumps thinking about it!

We went to D.c. couple weeks ago because my dad name was put on the national fallen officer wall. it was a big honnor that was totally amazing,and what a blessing to receive. It was emtional and such a awesome experience, we were able to go to candal light vigil and a cermoney at the captial and we were excort by a police motor cade where ever we went. I was a honor to be with all the other fallen officer's families from all over the nation. we also got to see so many amazing things. It was a amazing trip!!

man i love being a mom! just tinking how lucky im to be a mom and love and help my kids grow up! im so grateful for the moms in mylife and the examples they have been to me!

When we moved from edmond we left some good friends! We came and visit and max got see his girlfriend Hailey. They tell us all the time how they are going to get married someday!!

The other weekend we got like 6inch on saturday! Those who know me knows i hate snow i have since i was a little girl everybody else would play for hours and i would go out for 5 mins and had a enough ! max asked me to go out and play with him so i did! the things we mothers do for our kids lol!( please ingnore the streach marks in one of the pics)

5k run

yesterday we has a family went to a 5k run. It is for C.O.P.S concerns of police survors. Its an organization that we have become apart of since my dad was killed in the line of duty. it was to raise money to go to D.C. for national police conventions. we went and had alot fun . It was so windy but fun.
