toothless in the becker household!

this is a big milestone for me . we are moving out of this baby toddler stage to the big kid stage, not only are teeth going missing but max is starting school all day in a month and maycee is looking more and more like a big girl not a baby and the dr says Roxy is teething! what! stoping growing up so fast!! lol i feel like its all down hill from here teeth gone truning 8 then 12 and dating and graduating mission then marriage and grandkids! wait! wait! slowdown i need you all to stay babies! lol

max 1st tooth!

Max lost his 1st tooth a few weeks ago! he has been waiting to lose this tooth and when maycee came home from the dentist with out a tooth and the tooth fairy was coming to vist her 1st Max went to wiggling like crazy to get it out lol so one sunday morining max was eating an apple before chruch and then all the sudden he scream my tooth is gone where is it so we started looking for it in the apple and there it was on his chest!

painting marshmellows!

We had some friends come over today while there mom had somewhere to be so i thought this would be a perfect time to make this i saw on another blog! you just pore milk and then add food coloring to it and then give the kids marshmellows and a paint brush and let them go crazy! it was alot of fun and best part they got to eat it afterwards! yum!

summer fun: snake hunt!

so one afternoon both girls were sleeping (whoot Thankgoodness) max wanted to watch tv and i said no i said playwith your toys and he said im going to go on a snake hunt i said do you want me to hide it for you which led to the birth of snake hunt! he would wait in his room and i would hide the 2 snakes we have one went in the mail box and lots of fun places and i would some times give him hints and he would find them and then we would do it all again! it was a fun hour ! after i was feeding the baby and maycee woke up max came over and whisper in my ear mom can we have max and mommy time everyday when the girls are sleeping !( i guess he liked it) i could of sent him on his way and i could of did some laundrey or something but i didnt i played snake hunt and it was and will be a great memory for us both! it was one of those mommy mommets when you think you did all right for once so im on the hunt for even more cheap snakes so we can have a even bigger hunt next time!

summer fun : grandma and grandpa comes to vist

grandma suzanne and grandpa mike came to vist for the day we went to eat at the fatguy burger which is really good you should try the peanut butter burger and then they have strawberry diping sauce for fries and you dip your burger in it its heaven so i might be hungrey has i post this lol then we went swiming it was Roxy 1st time in the pool! it was a fun and relaxing day!

summer fun: homemade bubbles and impromtu water hose fight!

I found these big wands at the 1 store and remeber last year a friend gave me a homemade reciepe for bubbles, and then it was crazy hot and we were washing the split bubbles and it was super hot at 10 in the moringing so i sprayed them down in clothes and all it was fun day!

why my husband is a great dad!

so fathers day weekend we came home on saturday and our aircondtining was broken but luckly upstairs has its own unit in the wall so my wonderful husband put up a sheet over the entryway to keep the cool air in and blew up the air bed and pulled out the futon bed and got it all set up and i hate to admit that i was very grumpy about not have an aircondtion but his good attuide rub off on all of us he said its like we are camping out and made it fun for all and then he said this is just what i wanted for fathers day for us all to camp out like this, which i had to humble myself and relize all my fathers day plans for him didnt matter as long as we were together ! we had made him a fathers day banner and cards and we still made him breakfast in bed. im so lucky for my husband and his postive out look on life! ive couldnt have pick a better man to be the father of our kids!

so this super horse the other day by brothers got max his very own cowboy hat which he has wanted one for a long time! so he ask me to get out his horse and he and maycee played john wayne and cowboys and indians and got the jump rope out and tied up the horses and maycee had to get out her little rocking horse! they played for hours and then a few hours later has maycee was sleeping he got out his thor mask and his swords and was ridding robert (which is the name of the horse which has been his name since he was 2 and got the horse for christmas) so i ask max what he is doing in his thor mask and sword and he said im playing gladators man i love a toy that help take my kids imaginations ubove and beyondQ
