MU OU game

Scott got tickets to the MU OU game for his big 30 birthday so we made a fast trip to columbia which was homecoming and espn game day game of the week and they were both undefeted. Knowing us scott is a missguided MU fan and im and OU fan so of course i wore my crimson to the game and we set in the student section for MU so if you watched the game i was the only red in a sea of yellow but i wore it proud even when i was heckeled by these intoxcated MU fan setting behind us but it was in all good fun. so my sooners didnt bring there A game and we lost. It was fun for my husband for his team to finally beat my team and the to watch them take down the goal post only wished it was the sooner fans takeing it down oh well maybe next year!

baby #3.......

I'm so excited for this baby , don't get me wrong I'm always beyond excited when I'm preggers. With max i was excited but we found out so late in the game that i was pregnant and Scott was in Iraq and that had all it own worries and then all the 1st time mom jitters on top of that and then with maycee i felt nervous and guilty about the adjustments that max would have make and if i could do it being a mom of two. With this baby I'm just excited i know it will be ruff and alot of sleepless nights and adjustments but i know we can doit. I cant wait to hold this sweet little baby girl and smell that new baby smell and watch my kids fall in love with her and watch a this little bundle of joy snuggled up on her daddy's chest while they take a nap together.

ps we found out this week that we are having a girl maycee was beyond excited and Scott and i where a bit speechless because we both were sure it was aboy and max was devastated he cryed in the Dr office he so wanted a brother. We are so excited to have a another sweet baby girl to call ours.

My ramblings .....

I've been feeling a bit like a unfit wife and mother i try my best to be a fun mommy trying to teach my kids what is right and wrong , but i have no problem admitting that I'm a horrible house keeper and im not that organize especially in our home when i look at all you awesome blogger and see how crafty how organized and wonderful you are i have been having some complexes that I'm not living up to this standard that i have set for myself .

so I've taken baby steps to fix this Ive made menus for two weeks which we didn't follow that closely Ive made chore charts for my kids i realized that if i got my kids helping with things around the house then it is lot less work for me. we are moving to our first house in a few weeks and i have so many ways i want to decorate it so I've made a list that of crafts I'm going to try to make we will see.

but i did learn that we all have talents and i even have some too, and that if my kids are happy and there most days polite and that my husband is happy that is all that matters and that we are all trying our best.

8 years and counting..............

yesterday was mine and Scott's anniversary was yesterday ! Scott had a long day of work and then a long evening of school but he still thought of me and gave me some beautiful roses and a dinner date later in the week. I'm very lucky to have married such a hard working spontaneous adventurous man who loves me for who I'm even when its when I'm emotional and Little stubborn. thanks for loving me for eternity

• for hubbys days off
• for maycee and potty training
• for planed out menus not having to figure out what to eat for dinner
• allegies meds
• and the last book of catching fire whoot whoot!!!!!

1st day of school

yesterday was the 1st day of school max did great we decide that he would do prek again bc of his age but he has a new teacher and what he says about her is she really nice and she has redhair really she has dark brown hair with red high lights too funny i love how kids persceve things . he informed me that he wouldn't cry and he didnt but i did but hey im preggers lol ( lets face it i would cry even if i wasnt preggers) he went right in and didnt care that i didnt go in with him which was a huge change from last year. maycee did cry she wanted so badly to go school and just couldnt take it that she couldnt stay sweet girl she going to love school liked me. we went home and did school she was happy. when i picked him up got in the car and said TODAY WAS AWESOME! It was so great to see him so happy ahhhh..... great day!

SUMMER N REVIEW!

I started the summer off having lost 15 pounds then i turned 30 and went to Hawaii and in between these things max and maycee and i lived up the summer swimming going to the zoo splash pads playing with friends and lots of summer fun. then we found out baby # 3 is on its way which cause me to gain weight then I went to adult child retreat which is part of this organization which helps family who has lost a police officer in the line of duty which was huge step for me i went with out my brothers bc they had to work so i flew to st Louis by myself then went to the retreat all by my self knowing nobody the retreat is to help you cope with death of a love one they all have lost a parent which was nice not feel alone i then while i was there climbed a 60ft tower to the top which was amazing . then i made it home and had a lot a fun playing with my kids it was my goal this summer to spend alot of time with my kids and to have alot of fun with them so we did some more swimming and playing and movie watching. then my husband got a new job which he is totally right for and loves he is so happy which when there is a happy daddy there is no grumpy daddy lol Then we took a spontaneous trip to st Louis where we went to the zoo which ill admit to my husband is the best zoo i have ever been to. we saw the arch and Scott and max went to a cardinals game which they beat the dodgers which hurts my heart a little. we did some more swimming , max became this swimming fool with gills and maycee loves to lay out and take a tan she loves the sun but it was her fav thing to say this summer has she walk out the door its hot its summer time lol and max turned 5 and we had a super hero trainning camp bday witch was a lot of fun ,then i found out I'm going to be an aunt again my brother Jake and his wife is having a baby which our babies will be like 8 weeks apart which is going to be so fun! we ended our summer today at Chuckie cheese since school starts tomorrow. we had alot of fun and life changing summer !
