Maycee

Saturday we were shoping me maycee and gigi and maycee was seting in the back and i was talking to her tell her what a big girl she is and that i could see her doing hair or nails when she grows up bc she is so into that right now and i said maycee i could see you be anything when you grow up a teacher or a mommy a doctor anything i said maycee what do you want to be and she thought for a minuite and said in her high pitch excited voices with this big grin " I WANT TO BE A BIG SISTER" how cute is she she is so excited to be a big sister we got her a big sister shirt and baby sloppy joe a little sister shirt she cant wait to for her to get here! i already know she will be tons of help just like max is to her
ps no we DO NOT HAVE A NAME FOR POOR LITTLE SLOPPY JOE yet the jurry is still out! i may just have to see her and hold her before i can decide :)

veterans day is my faviortie holiday since i was 5years old since i learned about and called my grandpa everyyear until last year this a picture of my husband the day he came home im so grateful to be part of this nation and to have been a wife of a solider! i hope that i teach my children the love and respect that the vetrans in my life have taught me! Thankyou to all those who serve!

nature Walk

Max is such an outdoors kid its kinda sad that he doesn't have more land to run and explore on so i told him we could go on a nature trail so yesterday after Church we went to mohawk nature trail and it was fun maycee bit of a slow poke because she sang as she walk " we go on a nature walk nature walk walk walk" all the way and max was the big man with dad leading the way max really enjoyed it and was really upset bc he didn't get to see a beaver bc i told him when i was a kid and went on a nature walk and saw a beaver but he had fun and we will differently be going on more! oh and on our way home we got see fighter jets land so we pulled over and watched them land it was really cool

halloween and pumpkin carving

I havent been able to post pics bc both the lap top and desk top have been sick but they went to the doctor and are much better so here are pics of halloween and our pumpkin carving maycee didnt like the smell of the pumpkin so she held her nose while max and i cleaned it out. i also learned that reason why my parents had us paint our pumpkins as kids because that craving stuff was alot harder then it looks.

Maycee was a witch are friend becky asked maycee if she was going to be a princess for halloween she said no i going to be a witch but i still a princess and Max was the every tuff Nijia we went to the trunk n treat at chruch it was both wards in our building so there were tons of candy and then my husband had me get extra candy for the trick treaters but we didnt get that many so we have tons and tons of candy! YIKES!!

MU OU game

Scott got tickets to the MU OU game for his big 30 birthday so we made a fast trip to columbia which was homecoming and espn game day game of the week and they were both undefeted. Knowing us scott is a missguided MU fan and im and OU fan so of course i wore my crimson to the game and we set in the student section for MU so if you watched the game i was the only red in a sea of yellow but i wore it proud even when i was heckeled by these intoxcated MU fan setting behind us but it was in all good fun. so my sooners didnt bring there A game and we lost. It was fun for my husband for his team to finally beat my team and the to watch them take down the goal post only wished it was the sooner fans takeing it down oh well maybe next year!

baby #3.......

I'm so excited for this baby , don't get me wrong I'm always beyond excited when I'm preggers. With max i was excited but we found out so late in the game that i was pregnant and Scott was in Iraq and that had all it own worries and then all the 1st time mom jitters on top of that and then with maycee i felt nervous and guilty about the adjustments that max would have make and if i could do it being a mom of two. With this baby I'm just excited i know it will be ruff and alot of sleepless nights and adjustments but i know we can doit. I cant wait to hold this sweet little baby girl and smell that new baby smell and watch my kids fall in love with her and watch a this little bundle of joy snuggled up on her daddy's chest while they take a nap together.

ps we found out this week that we are having a girl maycee was beyond excited and Scott and i where a bit speechless because we both were sure it was aboy and max was devastated he cryed in the Dr office he so wanted a brother. We are so excited to have a another sweet baby girl to call ours.

My ramblings .....

I've been feeling a bit like a unfit wife and mother i try my best to be a fun mommy trying to teach my kids what is right and wrong , but i have no problem admitting that I'm a horrible house keeper and im not that organize especially in our home when i look at all you awesome blogger and see how crafty how organized and wonderful you are i have been having some complexes that I'm not living up to this standard that i have set for myself .

so I've taken baby steps to fix this Ive made menus for two weeks which we didn't follow that closely Ive made chore charts for my kids i realized that if i got my kids helping with things around the house then it is lot less work for me. we are moving to our first house in a few weeks and i have so many ways i want to decorate it so I've made a list that of crafts I'm going to try to make we will see.

but i did learn that we all have talents and i even have some too, and that if my kids are happy and there most days polite and that my husband is happy that is all that matters and that we are all trying our best.
